Girls in Tech
Girls in Tech (GIT) is a global non-profit that works to put an end to gender
inequality in high-tech industries and startups through educating and empowering
women who are passionate about technology. Girls in Tech offers everything from
coding courses to bootcamps to hackathons and startup competitions no matter age
or profession. It is Girls in Tech’s mission to support women with the access and
community they need to succeed in tech.
Girls in Tech Amplify
Girls in Tech hosts AMPLIFY, a startup competition for entrepreneurs, investors,
engineers, and designers that explore up and coming trends in innovation and technology.
Most importantly, AMPLIFY showcases the best and brightest female tech entrepreneurs
from around the world. Amplify features female entrepreneurs pitching their early-stage
technology startup onstage to a panel of seasoned technorati and investors to be judged
based on the innovativeness and viability of the product or service. The winner receives
$20,000 in funding and additional resources such as one year of office space at a coworking
space, and a laptop to grow their startup.
