Senior Data Analytics Expert
YouNoodle is looking for world leaders in data analysis and mining to contribute to our research into startup trends and predictive modeling. You'll be designing new models and generating insights from data that no other company has collected before.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and analyze rich data on early-stage companies that no other company has had access to before.
- Use existing software as well as building your own statistical and predictive models to execute on the above.
- Work closely with the management team to report findings and model developments, as well as analyzing overall metrics to contribute to all other aspects of the business.
Required skills:
- Significant proven experience in using and designing computational, algorithmic and statistical models to analyze complex and large data sets.
- Advanced proficiency in data manipulation software, such as Mathlab, ExplorN, XLisp-stat, etc.
- Experience and familiarity with writing code using PHP, Python, Java or other languages a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and to quickly learn the business in unfamiliar areas.
- Interest and experience in the formation and understanding of early-stage companies a plus.

Web Developer
YouNoodle is looking for a superstar web developer to join our team early and play a critical role in the development of all our future features.
Responsibilities:
- Implement core website functionality by writing efficient and maintainable code.
- Involvement in all aspects of development: page styling, business logic, back-end servers.
- Work with product managers to determine feasibility and scheduling for new projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in PHP and at least one other typical web programming language (PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl etc.)
- Ability to write fast code for high-traffic applications, knowledge of runtime complexity issues.
- Knowledge of object-oriented abstraction design and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assist other team members in problem solving.
- Experience with Facebook's developer platform or Open Social is a plus.

Front-End Web Designer and Developer
YouNoodle is looking for a designer with strong technical expertise to join our startup team early and be responsible for the front-end execution of all our features.
Responsibilities:
- Design interface specifications with a focus on technical feasibility.
- Build front-end enhancements, new features, and entirely new products.
- Debug and maintain rendering in a variety of cross-domain and cross-browser environments.
Required skills:
- Expertise in building and maintaining web pages using HTML, CSS and object-oriented JavaScript.
- 1+ years experience in at least one typical web programming language (PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl etc.)
- Experience with HTML templating systems (Smarty, CakePHP, Cheetah, Django etc.)
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/toolkits, including AJAX networking (jQuery, MochiKit, YUI, Dojo, etc.)
- Comfortable with DOM manipulation, awareness of browser-specific issues.
- Working knowledge of source control software (Subversion, CVS etc.)
- Experience in Flash/Actionscript development is a plus.

System Administrator (part-time)
YouNoodle is seeking an experienced and proven System Administrator to help support and monitor our site, network and servers.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and maintenance of a growing network of Linux servers.
- Monitor and enhance all aspects of system performance.
- Guide hardware and bandwidth purchasing.
- Backup and disaster recovery for sensitive consumer data.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of systems administration in a production environment (Linux experience strongly preferred).
- Understanding of TCP/IP, networking, firewall, and security concepts.
- Excellent working knowledge of DNS, HTTP(S), SSH.
- Architectural experience with the LAMP stack.
- Familiarity with monitoring and configuration tools (e.g. nagios, puppet).
- Familiarity with system and software performance tuning.
- Experience supporting development of high availability, high volume web applications.

Sales Associate
YouNoodle is seeking a talented and energetic Sales Associate to join our startup team.
Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with hundreds of the world's most important entrepreneurship groups.
- Maintain a high volume of outbound calls and emails.
- Be innovative in generating your own leads and referrals.
- Achieve a fast turnaround on each lead.
Required skills:
- Self-starter with the entrepreneurial flair to start and develop a critical part of our operations.
- Preference given to candidates with 1-3 years sales experience, or success in setting up your own small business.
- Candidates without experience but with exceptional achievements in other areas will be considered.
- You are fascinated by persuasion, consciously experiment to find what works, and are excited by the chance to develop your skills in this area.
- Ideally you will have been involved with university business competitions and have a passion for the innovation they stimulate.
- Fluency in foreign languages and experience living in multiple countries is a plus.

Product Manager
YouNoodle is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Product Manager to shape our fast-growing website.
Responsibilities:
- Managing YouNoodle's web development including product specifications and messaging.
- Managing the entire product life cycle from conception to development to release.
- Determine product specifications via Market Requirements Document (MRD).
- Quantitative analysis of product/key metrics.
- Engage closely with engineering team and assist in determining the best technical implementation methods as well as reasonable execution schedule.
- Prioritize feature requirements and communicate short and long term roadmap with the company.
Required skills:
- Resume with proven results not just description of duties - we want to see metrics.
- Passion for writing product specifications and designing wireframes (need writing sample).
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to details.
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
- We are looking for an enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player.
- Previous start-up experience is a strong plus.
- BA/BS degree (CS, EE, Math, preferred).
