Pomega is an entrepreneurial skin care company that was established in Marin County, California in 2005. The business specializes in the development of clean and green skin care products formulated with pomegranate seed oil – a potent antioxidant that works miracles for the skin – as well as organic botanicals, essential fatty acids, and aromatic essential oils.
The company's modest roots stem from behind a kitchen counter, where Tzeira Sofer, an entrepreneur, designer and long-time practitioner in nutritional healing began experimenting with ancient formulations in the search for an authentic, holistic skin care for herself and her family. With the knowledge that most cosmetic products on the market today contain ingredients that are known toxins, she formulated her products to be uniquely pure and equally – if not more – efficacious than what is currently offered on the market.
