Mike Cadogan
Emergency Physician working in Australia. Developing patient and practitioner friendly Health Information Engine for Australia. Due to launch 2009
I use this site a lot to check on local medical doctors and resources. It lists practices, doctors, their qualifications, what procedures they do and it is constantly updated. It's better than Yellow Pages because I can search on a term (like women's health) and it brings up a list of clinics that offer that service.
This is the sort of online medical service that Australians desperately need. It is usually very difficult to find up-to-date information about specialists etc. HealthEngine solves that problem. It's a vital service.
