Monitor performance and coordinate co-investment opportunities. Resolved $400 million in real estate debt workouts. Manage $300 million portfolio of REO assets. Prepare quarterly asset and borrower reviews, including in-depth financial and operating assessments. Prepare business plans for equity investments and REO assets. Insure compliance with bank’s credit and risk policies. Serve as primary intermediary on all distressed situations. Manage team of four asset management professionals. - Transaction Underwriting: Source, underwrite and close debt and equity investments in distressed real estate projects. Recently set up joint venture to provide mezzanine financing for projects in the southeast. Serve as primary liaison with Smith Barney, focusing on providing Citi financing alternatives to high net worth clients. - Infrastructure and Special Projects: Developed asset management and servicing platforms for new hedge fund operation within Global Special Situations Group. Oversee relationships with rating agencies, due diligence contractors, servicing firms, collateral agents and other third party vendors. |
