A.K.Ravishankar has completed his M.Sc Biotechnology (M.B.A) and currently working for his start up -JaRID which stands for Jatropha for Rural Indian Development project which was a runner up project at Indian Institute Technology-Madras (IIT-M) Social entrepreneurship competition and JaRID was a finalist at Massachusetts Institute Technology (MIT) -Ideas.
Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP- www.globalknowledge.org)- Young Social Entrepreneur Scholorship recipient.
He is the Indian ambassador for I-Genius (www.i-genius.org) - UNESCO affliated organization working towards promoting social entrepreneurship.
