FULL BIO

I entered MUEC 3 times in a row while completing my MBA part time with 3 very different business ideas. Each time I learnt a new set of skills around commericialisation and capital raising. It was a great opportunity to refine skills in writing business plans and practicing the business pitch.
In 2007 I took up an opportunity to commercialise a prototype mobile phone/email platform using SMS. It took a government grant, a lot of private money and 18 months before we had a working commercial platform. During this time I began looking for channel partners with telecommunications companies in India, Sri Lanka and Australia. The business was put on ice as the economic crisis hit and business opportunities dried up.
Since 2008 I have been working with CleanTech and innovative technologies to help them submit government grants. I have also taken on advisory roles for a number of emerging new businesses (5 currently). Each one has the potential to dominate their own industry niche locally and overseas.
I have also found a continued interest in online business models and have skilled myself up in web design in order to pursue the next opportunity without delay.
