FULL BIO

Min Lee’s track record as an entrepreneur and businessman in the past decade is founded on the belief that there are no obstacles that cannot be scaled by ingenuity, creativity, and the courage to look for solutions that lead beyond the beaten path. The founder of a string of successful companies, Min Lee is especially adept at finding lucrative opportunities to do business between the United States and Asia, and has contributed significantly to the success of many South Korean Corporations.

Min Lee built his reputation by being one of the few businessmen in Korean to foresee the International Monetary Fund crisis in 1997. As the president and CEO of FCI Corp, a leading international business consulting firm, he focused on the development of projects that took advantage of the strong US dollar versus the Korean won. Mr. Lee not only saved his company’s assets, but also guided the firm to solid profits in a year when business failures were the norm. Building on this early success, Min Lee became the head of a business consortium involving many top 10 Korean conglomerates such as Asiana Airlines, Lotte Hotel, Lotte DFS, Walker- Hill Hotel, and Daemyung Resort. Within 1 year after starting the consortium, Mr. Lee had overseen the creation of projects that generated over US $10 million.

Launching his own side project in 2000, Min Lee founded IMSA, a biotechnology firm that developed A-clinic, a highly successful brand of Acne treatment cream. Leveraging the resources developed through a three way joint venture, Mr. Lee successfully brought A-Clinic to market where it achieved US $5 million in sales revenue within 6 months of launching.

Recognizing that there were many lucrative business opportunities working with US and Korean companies, Mr. Lee founded HRS Global Inc in Sept 2004 to develop human resources solutions for the US market that would leverage Korean workers. Collaborating with the Korean government, HRS coordinated a deal with St. John’s Riverside Hospitals whereby 10,000 South Korean nurses were deployed to offset the severe shortage of nurses in the US. This deal was the largest single deployment of labor in both US and South Korean history. Today, HRS Global continues to pursue other government projects, while also providing international business services to the private sector.

Min Lee graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics. He has been very active in supporting entrepreneurial programs among college students and has be involved in numerous mentorship programs that help prepare young students for the business world. Mr. Lee currently resides in Oakland California.
