FULL BIO

Dr. Michael Stull is currently the Director of the CSUSB Entrepreneurship program and the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship (IECE) at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). In that role Michael is responsible for program management and development, curriculum development and coordination, teaching graduate level entrepreneurship courses, and overseeing numerous entrepreneurial initiatives focused on the students at Cal State and the business community in the Inland Empire. During his first five years at IECE (2002-07) he developed twelve (12) major business community and student focused programs and raised over $8 million in grants and sponsorships for IECE. Through the efforts of IECE, Cal State has been named one of the Top 100 U.S. Colleges and Universities for Entrepreneurs in 2004 and 2005 and in 2006 ranked #4 in the nation by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine among graduate entrepreneurship programs.

Prior to joining IECE, Michael was the Executive Director of the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (SBDC), located in Riverside. As Executive Director, Mr. Stull was responsible for operations, program development and management. Under his direction from 1997 to 2002, the SBDC doubled in size, becoming the largest SBDC program in California and one of the largest in the nation.

Prior to joining the SBDC, Michael was involved in several entrepreneurial ventures in the Inland Empire. His background includes over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, small business management, finance, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, and government contracting. Mr. Stull holds a doctorate in management from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA/BA in Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino.
