Description:	TCF is a Dubai based media relations consultancy company. My duties included: • Development of TCF's media and news web portal (PHP + mysql) • System administration of a Windows 2003 domain • Consultancy work for X-sat, a Thuraya Satellite service provider reseller. I developed an online portal for their clients to manage their bills (PHP + mysql) and got to play around with some really cool equipment for satellite communications (sat phone, sat dsl modem etc.) • Deployment of an open source VOIP system (Asterisk)

Description:	After school hours I worked for more than two years at a major Belgian ISP. I started out as a help desk employee, assisting customers (both *nix and Microsoft users) in fixing their Internet and e-mail connectivity problems. Later on I was put on abuse response as well. My responsibilities also included maintaining the Linux test machines. Near the end of my studies I moved to the internal help desk department where I did my internship.
