FULL BIO
As Operations Manager for Dreamfish, Marie-Anne is primarily responsible for day-to-day oversight of staff, projects and business processes.
Since joining WDHB in December 2006 until March 2010, she has led high-profile Learning Expeditions for clients such as L'Oreal, Michelin and the Global Learning Alliance consortium of corporations including Nissan, Nokia & Wipro. Her portfolio at WDHB expanded in July 2008 to include operational oversight ranging from Project Leader training and mentorship to general management of Expedition design & delivery and the revamping WDHB’s organizational structure in response to evolving market demands and client needs. She is well-regarded for her clarity of purpose, collaborative spirit and her ability to effectively deliver high-level planning with detailed execution.
Previously, Marie-Anne held a research assistant position in the design laboratory at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. There, she developed strong interest in human-centered design & ultimately incorporated this aspect into her business studies via Social Psychology & Cultural Anthropology classes at Stanford.
With a double BA in International Management from Lancaster University U.K. and Reims Management School in France, she began her career in marketing for Véolia Transports in London and Renault in Dublin, then moved into project coordination at Mitsubishi Corporation in Paris.
Given her French father, Filipina mother, multilingual schooling and extensive travels, Marie-Anne is deeply experienced in multicultural environments. Along with cross-cultural pursuits, she also has a passion for social entrepreneurship. She’s partnered with French NGO Sport Sans Frontières to build sports facilities for children in Afghanistan and has taught Math & English to abused and orphaned children in the Philippines.
