Lucian (24) is the energetic face behind the Brave New® Talent. An award winning young entrepreneur with a huge drive and passion for success. He has recently been placed in the UK's top 5 up and coming entrepreneurs by Natwest and RBS. Lucian has a 'born global' attitude with a strategy to match. He is the world’s youngest entrepreneur to join the UKTI (UK Trade and Investment's) hugely successful Global Entrepreneur Program with Brave New Talent being described by the UK Government as a “Technology company of Exceptional Potential”. BraveNewTalent.com is the worlds first pre-employment networking site, connecting talent to employers online. The platform has plans to scale up globally but is launching initially in the UK and India. Brave New Talent will revolutionize the recruitment of student talent worldwide.
Lucian was the UK’s first undergraduate entrepreneur to receive EU financial backing and Edinburgh University support. As a student he ran one of the UK’s only entirely student run charities - Take Heart India (www.takeheartindia.org). Through his fundraising efforts Take Heart has built an IT school in rural India training hundreds of blind students in IT skills. Lucian has worked with in India since the age of nine. He is a youth advisor for Next Generation India on the Board of the UK India Business Council and is a Make Your Mark Connector. He has been an enterprise mentor and judge for The Prime Ministers Global Fellowship and participated in IBM’s Forum on Global Leadership receiving an from an invitation from IBM’s Global CEO to be one of the founding members of their forthcoming Global Entrepreneur Exchange. Lucian is passionate about the potential of the next generation and plays an active role in youth leadership. He is now also attempting to pioneer a foundation for future leaders in partnership with the Elders initiative, see www.the-youngers.org.

BraveNewTalent.com investors include Ben Way, known for his appearance in the recent television series “The Secret Millionaire” and founder of The Rainmakers (www.makingrain.com), an innovations company that focuses on venture creation; start-up acceleration; and corporate venturing. Ben is a non-executive director of Brave New Talent. The business also has the backing of a team of successful entrepreneurs with experience in technology, IT, recruitment and finance. Lucian has a 'born global' attitude with a strategy to match. Brave New Talent has been described by UKTI as a “Technology company of Exceptional Potential”. While at the University of Edinburgh, Lucian became interested in Generation Y (those born between 1980-2000) and how due to labour shortages they will get promoted faster than their predecessors and will become increasingly harder to recruit and retain.
