Born and raised in Romania, now 28 years old, Lucian has been living in Chicagoland and working as an independent designer since 2005. He started his design career in 1999 working his way up from freelancing to Senior Designer for the Romanian branding and interactive agency Grapefruit, which he then left to pursue a solo career. Before Emblematiq was born in the summer of 2008, Lucian’s business alias was badboy.media.design.

As an independent consultant, within the past 5 years, Lucian has worked for clients all over the world, more than 50 in total, spanning over 4 continents, from big multinational corporations to small start-ups. Such clients include Motorola, CNET, Collective X, YouNoodle, and Change.org, to name just a few.

Often recognized as one of the top interactive designers worldwide, Lucian continues pursuing a solo career under the Emblematiq name, and is always interested in receiving exciting new design challenges.
