FULL BIO

After working for years at tech start-ups in Silicon Valley, I moved to the Mendocino Coast in 2004. It was surprising when shortly after my arrival, PG&E applied for a preliminary permit to generate electricity from waves off the Mendocino coast in Fort Bragg, California. In early 2008, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved PG&E's Prelim Permit supporting PG&E's right to explore wave energy.

As PG&E, FERC and locals/municipal governments duke it out, the aspect of creating Mendocino Energy - a world-class renewable energy incubator, exploring federal energy policy in tandem with cutting-edge technologies and science moving swiftly from white boards and white papers to testing, refinement and implementation - remains a key focus.

Please visit http://MendoCoastCurrent.wordpress.com to follow a Silicon Valley technology veteran's passionate view toward forward-thinking, abundant and beneficial renewable energy solutions.
