Jeff Jaye is a California Department of Real Estate licensed mortgage loan officer since 1989. He holds the title of Executive Vice President and Board of Director for the Upfront Mortgage Brokers Association.
Jeff has successfully originated over 2400 residential home loans over the past 18 years with a 100% approval rate and a 99.89% closing ratio over that time. He has closed over $680,000,000 in home loans consisting of purchase, refinance, and construction type financing. Jeff was named the 1999-2000 “Mortgage Broker of the Year” by the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB).
He holds the title of Past President for the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB) East Bay Chapter which during his tenure was named the fastest growing local chapter in the United States by NAMB for the 1999-2000 term. Jeff is also a past State Director and the past Co-Chair of the CAMB Statewide Affiliates Panel. He holds the current title of Past Chair of CAMB’s Statewide Membership Committee responsible for the growth of the organization in the years 2000-2001 and served on the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) Industry Partners committee. Jeff regularly is asked to participate on panels with local State Senators, DRE commissioners and Congressional members in Washington D.C. on mortgage related policy sessions.
Co-founded and current Executive Vice President of the Nationally recognized “UFRONT MORTGAGE BROKER” program located at www.upfrontmortgagebrokers.org with Professor Jack Guttentag from the Wharton School of Business. The UMB program enables consumers to obtain guaranteed loan programs with no hidden costs or fees.
Jeff has written a monthly column in Mortgage Origination Magazine entitled Association Concepts where he updated the mortgage industry monthly on the benefits of education, legislation, and membership in the various National Associations available to originators and affiliates Nationwide.
He has been featured as an author and contributor in Origination News, National Broker Magazine, Mortgage Press, & Broker Magazine, and sits on the editorial board of Midwest Mortgage Magazine. He is also an on-air “Mortgage Expert: for Channel 4 and 5 in the Bay Area.
Jeff served on the Board of Directors of the California Youth Soccer Association and is volunteer for the Danville Mustang Soccer League, also was previously on the boards of the San Ramon Little League and the San Ramon Soccer Club and co-chaired the Cub Scouts annual Pinewood Derby. Married to Barbara and father of 4 children Tyler, Dallas, Spenser, and Noah.
