Description: - Project appraisal of new electroplating systems for the factory, studying cost centre analysis, economic vulnerability, changing market requirements and plant productivity.
- Worked with Chief Engineers and Department Managers to understand all aspects of changing factory layout and process flow when conducting my appraisal of current and future systems.
- Conducted meetings with large chemical and manufacturing companies including Enthone and Fischer Scientific.
- Produced a 50 page report and presented my research to the Managing Director.
- Recommended a change to the current system that has since been undertaken within the factory, allowing cost reductions and further diversification into new markets during a turbulent financial period.
