Awards: About My Graduation Project:
Project Abstract
The Clustering System being designed is a Server environment for a Massive Multiplayer Online Game. Since the Load on the server increases exponentially by the increase of the number of users on the system, the server machine will have a limit for serving clients, limiting the increase of business size else decreasing the reliability of the serving machine therefore increasing its vulnerability to being overloaded.
The solution that is being developed is through clustering the system by software means and dividing the operations of the server on multiple machines (with no limitations to their Computation power), and by enabling the assignment of tasks dynamically without the need to shut down the system at all.
The Project is Registered in the MIE contest 2007, Funded by Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) & is sponsored by Apple Line Egypt.
The Project won the 2nd place in the MIE contest
