WORK EXPERIENCE

Employer: Oxford Entrepreneurs
Position: Founder and Chairman
Time period: October 2002 - Present
Description: Founder and Chairman of Oxford University’s first organisation for student entrepreneurs. Showcased nationally by the Department of Trade and Industry at Living Innovation 2003 as ‘one of the top three organisations in the UK for supporting innovation and enterprise’.

Employer: Prana Publications
Position: Founder
Time period: September 2002 - Present
Description: Relying on a visual guide (DVD or book) to practice yoga is flawed because yoga is all about looking inward, and spinal alignment is key. So after craning my neck to read a headstand description I decided to produce the best audio yoga guide ever made. The guide, Yoga Retreat, is written and narrated by a leading UK instructor, Joan Stonehouse, who learned not to rely on visual communication when teaching yoga to blind students.

Employer: Yelp.com
Position: Product Manager, Sales Director
Time period: September 2004 - September 2007

Yelp is a website where people read and write reviews about their favorite local businesses. 2.3 million reviews and more than 8M unique visitors per month (Feb 2008). Funding from Max Levchin ($1M), Bessemer ($5M), Benchmark ($10M) and DAG Ventures ($15M).

Employer: Inspired
Position: Sole proprietor
