Audrey Tan, Singaporean based in Silicon Valley, California. A creator and explorer of novel and radical ideas. Currently working at Qik, a superstar start-up in the bay area. Having a hand in Product Development, Design and Marketing.
Audrey has dedicated her time to creating an educational tool that teaches children financial education. Moolah, an educational platform targeted at Children that involves parents in the learning process.
Audrey is an Entrepreneur who founded two E-Commerce businesses in Singapore. Responsible for running the cash flows of the company and formulating the marketing strategies for the business operation. Audrey also had a hand in negotiating with retailers and wholesalers as part of the experience in the online business. In her working experience, Audrey also delved in sales and marketing for homegrown start-up, Alpha Paw. In her stint with local start-up, she also traveled to mega expos in Nurnberg, Germany and Orlando, Florida learning and understanding more about the global pet industry.
Previously, Audrey co-founded NUS Media Entertainment, a University wide organization that brought a blend of performing arts, media and entertainment to the students in Singapore. Along with her team, Audrey organized a blend of performing arts and media entertainment related events in and out of the University. Audrey is also an evangelist for The Digital Movement, a dynamic, global community of digital professionals and enthusiast.
Ask Silicon Valley is an addition to her passion projects in bringing entrepreneurs, innovators and thought leaders together from all around the world.
Simultaneously, Audrey is studying in Stanford University & pursuing a degree in Communications and New Media, along with a Minor in Technopreneurship at the National University of Singapore.
In her free time Audrey volunteers at a local chapter, E-Soccer in the bay area that teaches atypical children the concept of inclusion through Soccer drills.
