Title: FEM analysis of orthogonal metal cutting in ABAQUS.
Description: Simulated and did the complete Stress and Temperature analysis of orthogonal metal cutting process using ABAQUS. Numerical and visual analysis was done for various tool geometries and cutting parameters. Results were verified with practical results.

Title: Micro and Nano Manufacturing
Description: Studying various techniques involved in advanced micro and nano-manufacturing and designing a course under Prof. B.N. Parashar for undergraduates at BITS Pilani. It also involves study of latest developments in Nanotechnology and future prospects of the same.

Title: Spent Pickle Acid Regeneration System for Steel (SPARS).
Description: SPARS is a novel process to regenerate the acid from the waste pickle liquor used in steel industries. The prototype won as the best project award at APOGEE 2k7 and the business-plan made on it won 3 International and 3 national business-plan competitions which accumulated prize money of Rs. 3 lacs.

Title: Electric scooter with vertical parking
Description: A concept bike with foldable seating and steering arms making it portable. It has a provision to park the vehicle vertically in a cabinet floor space of 1 sq. feet. Project was designed using Pro-E and CATIA and all parts were fabricated indigenously. The project won for best project in APOGEE2k8 (An Annual National level Technical Festival).

Title: Wall Climbing Robot
Description: An indigenously developed robot that can climb on any ferrous metal wall. The robot had three degrees of freedom and capable of performing repair and paint work in high steel structures. It is specially suited for industries with huge steel structures and need frequent repair or surveillance.

Description: Revalidation of process timings for in-house components. The project involved work-time study of processes and validating the optimized timings for various processes in-house. It also involved building of planning frameworks for predicting machining time, production planning schedule, capacity planning, and tracking performance and operational efficiency of the plant
