Description: Dr Andrew Casebow has been States Agriculture and Environment Adviser in Guernsey since 1987, following an earlier career working as a management consultant in England.
Andrew advises the newly formed Guernsey Sustainable Energy Commission and has set up a Guernsey Sustainable Energy Forum.

INFORMATION

Memberships: He is a Graduate Member of Magdalene College, Cambridge University, an Invited Senior Member of Linacre College, Oxford, and a Fellow of a number of Professional Institutions and Societies, including the Institute of Biology, the Institution of Agricultural Engineers and a member of the Society for the Environment.
Awards: He is a Churchill Fellow, awarded in 1997 after undertaking a travelling fellowship to research energy technologies and environmental protection in Europe. Andrew was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Agricultural Societies (of the UK) in 1999 and the ‘Queen’s Prize’ of the Royal Agricultural Society of England. He was short listed for the 2008 Guernsey Ambassador of the Year award.
