WORK EXPERIENCE
| Employer: | Big in Japan |
| Position: | Social Ninja |
| Time period: | March 2005 - Present |
| Description: | Big in Japan™ builds cool stuff. Since 2005 our team of developers, strategists and marketers have developed intellectual property around social media using the Ruby on Rails development framework. Our initial patent pending technological developments focused on XML to create unique social podcasting interactions (PodServe and FanPodCast). These technologies are used to power social connections between fans of popular television shows such as Damages, Dirt, Nip/Tuck, The Shield, and Rescue Me to name a few. We then developed patent pending interactions between VoIP, XML and Rails with the development of ServiceGuy. Most recently we developed patent pending technology to take advantage of the unique characteristics of the iPhone with our iPhoneVote application. |
