Web Mission 2008

This event will showcase innovative UK web talent, seek meaningful assistance for companies ready for expansion, and provide a platform for those involved to gain valuable media and business exposure. The application process is now closed.

The agenda currently as it currently stands is listed below. We'll continue to update it here as event details are finalised. While we'll try to minimise changes as we appreciate you need to plan your time, some changes may be unavoidable.

Please also see the EVENTS listing - some events require an RSVP and you should use the Events listing to register your attendance for these events (this is not necessary for the majority of events). We will also be distributing a printable agenda to all attendees.

SATURDAY

Lunch: With VCs and Venture Law Group at Heller Ehrman
3pm - arrive back at hotel, then FREE
6.30pm - coach to Oracle sponsored candlelit dinner

WEDNESDAY
Web 2.0 Expo Day supported by BT, Sun and Etelos, OR 1:1s @ San Francisco
6pm Drinks and Nibbles at Bebo office: hosted by Michael Birch

THURSDAY
“Doing Business in the US” Day @ Heller Ehrman in San Francisco
11am-2pm - Master Class Presentations (including lunch) from:

  On a more serious note: I have decided to focus on the next www.nwstartup20.co.uk (Manchester - UK) event on:
  
  1st half - the importance of Silicon Valley - Webmission08 + DemoFall - experience of startups
  2nd half - investment readiness - panel discussion with VCs and entrepreneurs
  
  This will be held in May 08. Do let me know if anyone wants a speaker slot. Event runs from 6:30/7pm to 9pm and then move to local bar for networking till early hours.
