Professor Khalid Al-Begain confirmed as President of EuroSim
The General Board of the Federation of the European Simulation Societies (EuroSim) in its meeting in Vienna on 17th January 2010 confirmed the appointment of Professor Khalid Al-Begain from the University of Glamorgan,UK as the incoming president of the organisation.
Professor Al-Begain (Jordanian nationality) will be installed in his new role in September 2010 during the EuroSim Congress in Prague to mark the start of the first UK presidecy of EuroSim.
This appointment will come as Professor Al-Begain concludes his second and final term as President of the European Council for Modelling and Simulation in June 2010. With the new appointment, he will be the first person ever to take the role of President in the two most influential simulation organisations in Europe.

MANILA, The Philippines (26 Nov 2009, News and Views You can Use) � The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Quezon City (PCCI-QC) showed the chambers of 15 cities and one municipality the way in carrying health and wellness as the one town-one product (OTOP) program of not just QC but all of Metro Manila, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) reported.
The William James Foundation has announced 8 competitions that together provide $100,000 in cash and in kind support for sustainable entrepreneurs. Entrants can be of any age or from anywhere in the world. First round deadline is December 4th. Details at: www.williamjamesfoundation.org/press.
