    Cambridge

The Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC) hosts the
TVC event in June on an annual basis to enhance entrepreneurial spirit
amongst academics and facilitate interaction between industry experts,
    investors and students.

This year, the TVC is taking place on the 12th June in The Cambridge
University Arms Hotel from 8:45am through to 5:30pm and will feature
keynote speakers Garret Camp (co-founder & chief product officer,
StumbleUpon), Michael Liebreich (founder & CEO, New Energy Finance) and
Peter Hartzbech (co-founder & CEO, iMotions) and 3 stimulating panel
discussions: "The Future of Biofuels", "Personalised Medicine" and "What's
beyond Web 2.0". The conference also includes a showcase session of the
latest technologies in the respective areas by companies requesting to take
    part.

Interested in participating or demonstrating your technology in the show
case session? Visit www.cutec.org for more information and to register.
We'll look forward to meeting you there for what will quite possibly be,
the most enterprising networking opportunity of the year.

This year the TVC is part of Enterprising Cambridge. This is a series of
events from 11th June to 13th June all of which promote enterprise in the
    Cambridge area.

The aim is to inspire novice entrepreneurs, raise awareness of activities
in Cambridge and bring together a rich mix of aspiring and experienced
entrepreneurs with members of the academic and business community.

  • 3. CUE Grand Finale

    Start: 11 Jun 2008 - 18:00
    End: 11 Jun 2008 - 21:00

    Date: Wednesday 11 June 2008
    Time: 6pm for 6.30pm start
Venue: The Cambridge Union Building (Map)

    Please register for this event.

Back in October, we took groups of students, added a dash of inspiration, sprinkled with £1k prizes and nurtured with mentoring and business training - what did we get? 12 hugely promising teams ready to set up businesses.

At the CUE Grand Finale we will announce the winners of the Entrepreneurs' Challenge 2008. In addition to being awarded £5k each to kick-start their companies, each team will have the chance to pitch for further prizes before a panel of angel investors including Robert Sansom, Jonathan Milner, Adrian Critchlow and Ewan Kirk.

After the ceremony, you will be able to mingle with the winners and business community over drinks and refreshments at the Union bar.

We really do hope that you will be able to make it and look forward to welcoming you to our end of year finale. Please let us know whether you’ll be there either by registering online.
