The Conference on Clean Energy has been held annually since 2005, growing from 13 pitches and 180 attendees for a single day event to 18 pitches and over 525 attendees for a two-day event last fall. Pitching companies also make up the core of the Exhibit Hall, which features clean energy companies at all stages of development. The Conference also has nine industry sessions, with panel discussions by corporate leaders in businesses ranging from demand response to hydrogen and fuel cells. Finance panels this year include experts in venture capital, project financing and seed funding programs. This year, we will have expanded university sessions and add a new dimension: international partnering. And of course the job fair will be back, bigger and better than ever.
Pitchers from earlier conferences have made contacts at these events that have led to investment and partnerships.
The Conference is co-hosted by the Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center and the Massachusetts Hydrogen Coalition. The MIT Enterprise Forum Energy Special Interest Group hosting the Job Fair.
